Ryan has been awarded a 7-night/8-day river cruise from March 12-19, 2023, beginning and ending in Amsterdam, with ports-of-call in the Netherlands and Belgium, including round trip airfare to Amsterdam, travel insurance for the time of the trip, and cash to help cover the standard cost of a passport.
The contest was through AAA and was open to only 8th graders in 14 states. Ryan answered three questions in one hundred words or less, submitted a picture of himself showing his love of travel and why he would want to travel to the Netherlands and Belgium, and submitted a school transcript.
With over 800 eligible applications submitted, Ryan was 1 of 60 winners!
