The NC General Assembly has allocated funds for a summer learning program for students in grades 4-8 to address learning loss and negative impacts experienced due to unusual and extraordinary conditions related to Hurricane Helene. Your student may benefit from attending our summer learning program. All students may register, but priority registration will be given to students who score Not Proficient on one or more of their End-of-Grade exams.
The dates for our summer program will be June 23 - July 16, Monday through Thursday from 8:00 - 1:30. If you are interested, your child will attend AC Reynolds Middle School for summer learning. Note that families will be asked to provide transportation to and from either AC Reynolds Middle School or Cane Creek Middle School (transportation will be provided between them).
After EOG testing is complete, families of students who qualify for priority registration will be notified.
If you are interested in your student attending our summer learning program, please complete the interest form below no later than Friday, June 6th.
