The award was presented to her by Dr. Shane Cassida, Director of Student Services and Ms. DeVanon, BCS ELA and Social Studies Curriculum Specialist. Hannah will attend an Award Dinner and her essay will be submitted for the national competition.
Do the Write Thing (DtWT) is a writing program for middle school students that positions them as community catalysts as they examine the root causes and impact of youth violence sponsored by National Campaign to Stop Violence.
