GOOGLE CLASSROOM ORGANIZATION
- Each day, I will post the learning targets and daily agenda and overview in the "Stream." Recording of Zoom meetings will also be posted in the "Stream."

- The daily Zoom link and class times will be the first post in the "Classwork" tab.

- Each week, I will have an overview of assignments posted in the "Classwork" tab in Google Classroom. It will be titled "Overview of Dates."

- Each day, assignments will be posted in the "Classwork" tab. They will be titled by the day and date. Complete the assignments in the order in which they are posted.
- All assignments must be turned in through Google Classroom. You will submit documents, screen shots, website links, etc.
REMOTE CLASS EXPECTATIONS

Respect:
- Take turns to comment during Zoom lessons.
- Honor one voice: Use mute when not speaking.
- Make respectful comments.
- Have respectful facial expressions. Use your reactions to show your understanding.
- Always THINK before posting. (Is it True, is it Helpful, is it Inspiring, is it Necessary is it Kind?)
- Always persevere and try your best.
Responsibility:
- Find a quiet, appropriate learning space.
- Attend Zooms on time.
- Follow the CCMS student dress code during Zooms.
- Use your real name on Zoom (I need to know who you are!) and keep the camera on.
- Complete your own work and turn in assignments on time.
- Use Zoom for school use only.
- Take PRIDE in completing your best work.
ATTENDANCE & ABSENCES

During remote school, Buncombe County Schools is requiring the following in order to be counted present:
- Students must be present (video on) during the 30 minute “face-to-face” Zooms.
AND
- Students must complete the daily assignment/task.
ASSIGNMENTS & DUE DATES LATE/MAKEUP WORK

- Work is due any time AFTER THE ZOOM on the due date. I'll check assignments the day after, so if you have to complete something in the evening, that's okay!
- If an assignment isn't turned in by 8:00 Monday of the following week, it will no longer be accepted!
- Grades will be posted frequently in PowerSchool. That's the best place to see if assignments are missing and grades.
GRADING POLICY

Major Assignments: 60%
Tests & Projects (count 2x)
Quizzes (count 1x)
Minor Assignments: 40%
Daily Assignments (both “face-to-face” Zooms and independent work)
Report card grades reflect the NC 10 point grading scale.
