In this club, students will gain skills in one or more of the following areas: page design, advanced publishing techniques, copy writing, editing and photography while producing a creative, innovative yearbook which records school memories and events. There is an emphasis on concrete journalism skills in this club. Participants gain useful, real world skills in time management, marketing, teamwork, and design principles.  The yearbook is a member of NCSMA, SIPA, and NSPA.  The 2015 Hurricane Watch received the prestigious Tar Heel Award from NCSMA.

Applications to join yearbook club are accepted in August only and the club meets until the end of February.  Yearbooks are distributed in May.
