Driver’s Education

•No connection to high school

       No grade, no credit, no high school course

•Must be 14 1/2 years old

•30 hour class

    after school – 10 days @ 3 hours per day

    Summer – 5 days @ 6 hours per day

    Online option– multiple sessions to choose from

•Must pass test at end of class to obtain “Certificate of Completion”

•Placed on list to drive by birth date

•Get letter from school verifying that you are ATTENDING and PASSING

•Go to DMV office with “Certificate of Completion,”  letter from school, copy of birth certificate, and ORIGINAL social security card and then you can be tested to receive your permit.
